2 AMT members awarded for reporting their social performance

09. November 2009

Both Enda Inter Arabe from Tunisia and ID Ghana were awarded the Silver Certificate Award for their reporting on their social performance.

To date, over 200 MFIs have completed the SPTF/MIX Social Performance Standards Report. Awards for successful reporting on the set of social performance indicators created by the Social Performance Task Force (SPTF) were given throughout 2009. These awards, were sponsored by Ford Foundation, the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, and the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP), and powered by MIX. The main purpose for the award is to encourage transparency in the social performance reporting of MFIs. The Silver Certificate is awarded to the MFI that adheres to the minimum core SPTF disclosure requirements and the Gold Certificate is awarded to the MFI that adheres to all core SPTF requirements as well as a report on poverty outreach data validated by a third-party (social rating).

MFIs that have not yet received the social performance reporting form from MIX should contact Micol Pistelli at mpistelli@themix.org to request a form
