AMT is pleased to learn that one of its members, PAWDEP, is the first Kenyan MFI to submit its data to the MFTransparency Transparent Pricing Initiative.
Not only is PAWDEP the first MFI in Kenya to become a member of this initiative, but this marks the first African microfinance service provider to join this international movement. Becoming a member of the Transparent Pricing Initiative in Kenya is a global demonstration of commitment to transparency and consumer protection. The MFTransparency staff is actively working with other MFIs in Kenya to complete the data submission process. If you would like to join the growing list please contact us at data@mftransparency.org.
