Une évaluation de performance, ou une notation en microfinance est le résultat d'une analyse approfondie de la performance et du risque liés aux opérations de l'IMF.
The purpose of AMT is to promote transparency within the African microfinance sector and to strengthen performance of Africa MFIs in order to improve the efficiency of their actions and activities in terms of poverty alleviation.
AMT acts as a discussion platform which allows African MFIs and rating agencies to come together to exchange on the process of performance evaluations.
Every 12 – 18 months, AMT hosts a microfinance investor’s fair in Africa to bring together rated MFIs with resource/fund providers (investment funds, banks etc.).
AMT provides a permanent source of information on the African rating market through 3 different channels:
AMT acts as an arbitrator to resolve any potential conflict that may arise between MFIs and rating agencies through its grievance panel.
It has further implemented a rating agency code of conduct which each agency must abide by.
